2025 Audi Q7: PHEV won't return for family flagship SUV
Audi Australia isn't going to re-introduce a plug-in hybrid Q7 SUV to its lineup, given a three-row configuration isn't available for the PHEV.

Last updated Sep 28, 2025The new Audi Q8 is a Suv Upper Large Luxury offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $143,415 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the S Line variant and topping out at $255,800 for the RS Q8 Performance.
There are 2 variants of the Q8 available in Australia and this generation went on sale in August of 2024.
Engine options include 3.0L turbo (250kW/500Nm), 3.0L turbo (210kW/600Nm), electric motor (360kW/700Nm) and 4.0L turbo (471kW/850Nm). All variants feature 8-speed automatic transmission. All variants feature four-wheel drive.
The new 2025 Q8 is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
