About William
William Stopford picked up his very first car magazine at age four and later began following overseas auto markets including the US, always with a keen interest in mainstream cars.
After graduating from QUT in 2012 with a Bachelor of Business and Journalism, he briefly lived in the US and then worked in health insurance, in his spare time writing historical automotive pieces for Curbside Classic.
He contributed to CarAdvice and joined CarExpert before the website went live, and has been here ever since.
William loves a large, rear-wheel drive sedan and has owned four of them, the latest being a 2015 Hyundai Genesis Ultimate.
He loves to travel and spend time with family and friends, and has long contemplated adding something older to his garage.
