Last updated Sep 29, 2025The new BMW 2 Series is a sports car offered in a 2D Coupe body style. Available in Australia from $51,000 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Modern Line variant and topping out at $79,930 for the Base.
There are 4 variants of the 2 Series available in Australia and this generation went on sale in July of 2014.
Engine options include 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (135kW/380Nm), 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (135kW/270Nm) and 3.0L turbo petrol direct injection (240kW/450Nm). Available with 8-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.
The new 2015 2 Series is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
