The new BYD Sealion 6 is a medium SUV available in Australia from $42,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Essential variant and topping out at $52,990 for the Premium variant.
There are 4 variants of the Sealion 6 available in Australia and this generation went on sale in early-2025.
The new Sealion 6 is offered with a 6 year, 150,000 km warranty.
Engine options for the BYD Sealion 6 include 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder hybrid (160kW/300Nm), 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo hybrid (238kW/550Nm) and 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo hybrid (253kW/550Nm). Both front-wheel drive and 4x4 configurations are available.
