2025 Mahindra Pik-Up spied with Scorpio-inspired facelift

Mahindra’s Pik-Up ute has been spied testing in India, featuring a subtle front redesign for the 2025 model year.

The Mahindra Pik-Up is the brand’s sole ute offering and is available in Australia with one powertrain, a choice of two body styles, and only a standard automatic transmission. Single cab and manual options were dropped this year.

It’s available in a single spec, the S11, and its updated front-end draws on similar styling cues seen on the Mahindra Scorpio SUV.

The 2025 Pik-Up has retained the same bonnet seen on the current iteration, while the headlight design has remained largely the same aside from a smokey tint. The main changes have been implemented on the grille and front bumper.

Its grille currently resembles a Jeep with its vertically-arranged rectangles, however the redesign incorporates the same six vertical chrome slats featured on the Scorpio. It also features Mahindra’s new ‘Twin Peaks’ logo instead of its outgoing oval design.

Gone is the black plastic strip across the middle of the bumper – it’s been swallowed by a larger body-coloured centre piece that incorporates front number plate mounting.

The fog light housings have also been reshaped and modernised, with smaller fog light lamps now positioned below a strip of LED daytime running lights.

The grille with horizontal slats underneath the number plate has remained, though the silver bash plate has been widened and smoothed out to remove the three ridges on the current Pik-Up.

Mahindra badging is featured prominently on the rear tailgate, along with a pull-up handle.

The Mahindra Pik-Up comes with a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 103kW of power and 320Nm of torque.

It’s mated to an Aisin-sourced six-speed automatic transmission and a part-time four-wheel drive system.

The dual-cab chassis 4×4 starts at $37,990 drive-away, while the dual-cab pickup is $38,500 drive-away.
