A year and a half after JAC Motors launched in Australia with one dual-cab ute, the JAC T9 range is expanding with the addition of two cab/chassis variants and two new high-spec trims.

Joining the current Oasis and Haven dual-cabs are the Oasis and Tradepro cab/chassis models, as well as the Osprey and Osprey X dual-cabs, growing the T9 family to six members.

The four new variants are slated to arrive in JAC dealerships from November 2025, with full pricing and specifications to be revealed closer to their release.

For context, the Oasis and Haven can currently be had for $39,990 and $43,990 drive-away respectively, thanks to a deal available until October 31.

Specifications for the new cab/chassis models remain limited, though JAC has outlined that both models will boast a 1165kg payload capacity, excluding the tray.

The Osprey, meanwhile, builds on the ex-flagship Haven’s equipment list by adding a sunroof and a “premium suspension tune”, while the Osprey X gets a black exterior styling package with blacked-out badges, alloy wheels, roof bars, side mirrors, door handles, and side-vent surrounds.

Both Osprey trims offer a payload of 980kg, which JAC says was “strategically engineered” to “sit under the one-tonne novated lease ceiling”, and intended to provide further opportunities for buyers.

All JAC T9s are powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 125kW of power and 410Nm of torque, and mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission sourced from European manufacturer ZF.

JAC has confirmed all T9 variants will offer four-wheel drive, featuring a dual-range BorgWarner transfer case and a locking rear differential.

The current T9 Oasis and Haven dual-cabs measure 5330mm long, 1983mm wide, and 1920mm tall, on a 3110mm wheelbase. Payload is rated at 1045kg, while both vehicles have a kerb weight of 2055kg.

JAC backs the T9 with a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty and seven years of roadside assistance, while also offering seven years of capped-price servicing.

The Chinese brand is also due to introduce a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) dual-cab ute, the Hunter PHEV, in early 2026. With peak outputs of 385kW and 1000Nm, it’s being dubbed the most powerful JAC ever.

The 2026 JAC T9 lineup (confirmed as of October 2025) is as follows:
