Skoda Australia has confirmed pricing and specifications for the new-generation Kodiaq RS, which arrives Down Under priced from $69,990 plus on-road costs.
Boasting a 195kW/400Nm 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine driving all four wheels via a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch auto, the seven-seat Kodiaq RS quotes a hot hatch-like 6.3-second 0-100km/h sprint.
While a Czech three-row performance SUV might sound niche, Skoda’s local division says the RS model accounted for up to 50 per cent of first-gen Kodiaq sales Down Under, making it a critical piece of the brand’s large SUV puzzle.
Further, Skoda Australia hasn’t announced nationwide drive-away pricing as yet, but a listing on pricing database Redbook indicates a $76,990 sticker including on-road costs, meaning the new, more powerful Kodiaq RS is a mere $100 dearer than the old one.

The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq RS becomes the third member of the new-generation Kodiaq lineup in Australia, joining the Style and Sportline trims which both run a lower-output 140kW 2.0 TSI turbo four with all-wheel drive.
Skoda Australia has confirmed that further variants will bolster the range in the first half of next year, with a new mild-hybrid entry variant to join the fold, as well as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version.
The latter will introduce a five-seat layout for the Australian Kodiaq range, having exclusively been offered here as a seven-seater previously. It’s unclear whether the 48V MHEV will offer the same.
