A spectacular crash which left three injured and has reportedly sparked a police investigation has been uploaded online, after being caught on dashcam.
Dash Cam Owners Australia shared the footage of a crash which happened on the Pacific Motorway at the Hope Island exit in Oxenford on the Gold Coast.
A silver Nissan Pulsar arrives in frame at great speed while taking an exit on the motorway, narrowly missing a Hyundai Tucson before ploughing into the back of an MG 3.
The MG subsequently spins back into the path of oncoming traffic on the motorway, while the Pulsar rolls and quickly comes to a rest.
While there were no more details of the crash provided on the post, 7 News reports the crash occurred on July 2, with the Pulsar driven by a 48-year-old woman.
The driver was reportedly trapped in the car but was later freed by emergency services. She, along with the 42- and 17-year old female occupants of the MG 3, were subsequently taken to Gold Coast University hospital in a stable condition.
At the time, police were investigating the cause of the crash and were awaiting blood test results for the Nissan driver.
