Following enquiries by police, it was discovered the blue smoke was related to a gender reveal party which the Commodore’s owner was taking part in.
The 29-year-old from Frankston North will have to pay $1120.50 to have his impounded Holden Commodore released, and is expected to be charged with traffic offences.
In Victoria, motorists can face a maximum court-ordered penalty of $988 for the offence known as “Improper use of motor vehicle – drive a motor vehicle in a manner which causes the motor vehicle to undergo loss of traction by one or more of the motor vehicle’s wheels”.
