Ram Trucks Australia has added a touch of Raptor-style aggression to its V8 ute line-up with the 1500 Warlock.
Pricing starts at $104,450 plus dealer delivery and on-road costs, with order books open now.
Based on the Crew Cab model, the Ram 1500 Warlock gets new ‘aggressive’ dark-themed exterior styling, the RamBox cargo system, leather upholstery, and a factory-fitted suspension lift (1-inch or 25mm).
The external changes include a ‘Rebel’ front grille with unique sports bonnet, black powder-coated front/rear bumpers and wheel arch flares, 20-inch semi-gloss black alloys, dark-tinted headlights, accent badging and model-specific Warlock decals.
Other highlights include the aforementioned leather-trimmed upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and the Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Available exterior colours include Flame Red (pictured), Bright White and Patriot Blue, with additional hues to be “released soon”.
Power comes from a 5.7-litre Hemi V8 developing 291kW and 556Nm driving all four wheels.
The Ram 1500 Warlock offers a payload of 820 kilograms and a 4.5 tonne maximum towing capacity.
Ram’s latest product announcement is off the back of a very successful 2020 despite the COVID-19 pandemic, with sales up 54.6 per cent year-to-date as of June 30.
