2026 Kia Seltos: All-new small SUV will be hybrid-only in Australia
First Toyota, now Kia. The Seltos is the Korean brand's first model to go hybrid-only in Australia, despite multiple powertrains available overseas.

Suzuki has recalled the 2021 Jimny due to a fault with its optional automatic transmission.
“Due to improper assembly of an oil seal in the automatic transmission, fluid may leak from the transmission which could result in a loss of drive,” the company says in its recall notice.
“A loss of drive while in use could increase the risk of an accident and injury to vehicle occupants and other road users. In the case of a serious accident this may result in death.”
- A total of 27 vehicles are affected
- Suzuki Australia’s VIN list is attached here and its recall notice here
- Suzuki Queensland’s VIN list is attached here and its recall notice here
If you’re an owner of an affected vehicle, Suzuki will contact you in writing. You’ll then need to take your Jimny to your local/preferred Suzuki dealer for a free fix.
