Volkswagen Australia has introduced a series of offers for its ID.4 and ID.5 mid-size electric SUVs, coinciding with an electric vehicle (EV) showcase for prospective buyers.

Tomorrow (Saturday, October 18), Volkswagen dealers across Australia will host an EV ‘education day’ of sorts, intended to expose customers to the German auto brand’s entire range of ID-badged electric cars via test drives, with staff on hand to answer questions and generally raise awareness of its EV offerings.

Launching on the same day is a week-long retail offer, under which customers who buy an ID.4 or ID.5 will receive a $1000 accessories voucher. This will be available until October 25.

Additionally, Volkswagen is introducing drive-away deals for those two SUVs until December 31, 2025, with the base ID.4 Pro kicking things off from $62,990 drive-away.

The ID.5 Pro, meanwhile, is now available for $65,990 drive-away. Both of these model variants are rear-wheel drive and offer advanced Volkswagen technologies including progressive steering and adaptive suspension.

Meantime, the flagship ID.4 GTX and ID.5 GTX variants, which bring all-wheel drive alongside increased power and torque, are priced at $72,990 and $75,990 drive-away respectively, which also equates to a $3000 premium over their regular list prices (excluding on-road statutory costs). All prices are detailed at the bottom of this article.
