Buyers of the petrol-powered Volkswagen Amarok will be offered $3000 off its drive-away price for almost three months, running concurrently with other deals for the ute.
Until September 30, the Volkswagen Amarok Aventura TSI452– the sole non-diesel variant in the ute’s lineup – is available with a $3000 factory bonus, applied to the drive-away price of both Model Year (MY) 2023 and 2024 examples.
Drive-away pricing for the Volkswagen Amarok Aventura TSI452 varies between states and territories, as well as from MY23 to MY24 examples.
Volkswagen increased the Aventura TSI452’s price by $3000 to its list price from February 1 for MY24 examples, as part of hikes across the entire ute range.
Below are drive-away prices for Aventura TSI452 models before the $3000 factory bonus is applied.
| State or Territory | MY23 Volkswagen Amarok Aventura TSI452 | MY24 Volkswagen Amarok Aventura TSI452 |
|---|---|---|
| New South Wales | $87,537 | $90,627 |
| Victoria | $86,198 | $89,279 |
| Queensland | $86,290 | $89,380 |
| Western Australia | $89,504 | $92,699 |
| South Australia | $86,203 | $89,293 |

| Northern Territory | $86,351 | $89,441 |

It’s not the only deal Volkswagen is currently running on the Amarok, after its nationwide drive-away pricing and free five-year/75,000km servicing offer for the Core TDI405, Life TDI500, Style TDI500, and Style TDI600 models was extended until September 30.
The Volkswagen Amarok is a rarity in Australia’s booming ute market in that it’s offered with a petrol engine, with other options including the flagship Ford Ranger Raptor, Jeep Gladiator and the most basic example of the Toyota HiLux.
Powering the Amarok Aventura TSI452 is a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine, which produces 222kW of power and 452Nm of torque.

Compared to the Aventura TDI600’s turbo-diesel 3.0-litre V6, the petrol ute makes 38kW more power but 148Nm less torque.
Its engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission which is paired with a full-time four-wheel drive system. The Amarok boasts a braked towing capacity of up to 3500kg and a gross combined mass of 6500kg.
