The Mazda 2 and CX-3 will reportedly be axed in Japan later this year, but both small cars will stay on sale in Australia for the time being.

Last updated Sep 28, 2025The new Mazda CX-3 is a small SUV offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $30,370 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Pure variant and topping out at $38,890 for the Akari.
There are 4 variants of the CX-3 available in Australia and this generation went on sale in December of 2024.
The Mazda CX-3 is only available with an null motor that produces 110kW and 195Nm of torque. All variants feature front-wheel drive.
The new 2025 CX-3 is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
