2026 BMW i4 review

Hyundai Australia has recalled the 2007-11 i30 and 2006-11 Elantra to fix a problem with the anti-lock braking module.
The recall, which is related to an earlier campaign for the Santa Fe, relates to the anti-lock braking system (ABS) module.
An electronic control circuit board in the ABS system could short when it’s exposed to moisture. If the circuit board does short, the car could catch fire – even when the car isn’t turned on, as the board is always powered.
- A total of 68,675 i30s and 18,734 Elantras are included in the recall

Hyundai is advising owners to park their cars in an open space away from flammable materials – not in a garage.
Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Hyundai and advised to contact a dealership to have a relay kit installed on the circuit board.
