2019-21 Honda Accord Hybrid recalled
The hybrid version of Honda's large sedan has been recalled over concerns of an electrical fault that could stop the battery from charging.

Honda Australia has issued a recall for 89 units of the 2019-21 Accord Hybrid sedan, over concerns an electrical fault may stop the 12V battery from charging.
“In cold ambient temperatures, the DC-DC converter may shut down and prevent the 12-volt battery from recharging, resulting in a loss of drive power if the vehicle continues to be driven,” Honda says in its ACCC recall notice.
“Warning lights in the instrument cluster will illuminate and a warning message will also appear.”
“Loss of power could result in the vehicle slowing or stopping, increasing the risk of an accident,” the company adds.
- A total of 89 vehicles are affected by this recall
- Dates available for sale: 16 October 2019, 17 June 2020 to 11 August 2020

Owners of the recalled Accord Hybrid models are urged to contact their preferred Honda dealer to arrange a free repair.
