2024 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max price and specs

Chery Motor Australia has finally priced its new Tiggo 8 Pro Max seven-seat SUV, with prices starting from a sharp $41,990 drive-away for the Chinese rival to the Mitsubishi Outlander and Honda CR-V.

Three variants will be available from launch, two with front-wheel drive and a flagship all-wheel drive version, all of which are powered by the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine teamed with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

All variants come standard with seven seats. Standard equipment highlights from even the base Urban grade include heated and ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, dual 12.3-inch displays and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Key rivals include the aforementioned Outlander and CR-V, as well as other seven-seat SUVs like the Nissan X-Trail, Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace.

Chery Australia covers its lineup with a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty. It also offers seven years of capped-price servicing and roadside assistance.

Scheduled maintenance is required every 12 months or 15,000 kilometres – whichever comes first.
