The Jeep Gladiator has received a $2000 price increase, but there have been some minor tweaks made and new features added to the dual-cab 4×4 pickup.

Available only in rugged Rubicon trim with a naturally aspirated V6 petrol engine, the 2026 Gladiator Rubicon is priced at $84,990 before on-road costs.

For 2026 the Gladiator receives remote start and new quick-release door hinges, allowing for faster and easier door removal.

There’s also Tungsten-coloured steering wheel stitching (replacing red) for a “more premium, unified cabin appearance”, while the Gladiator also gets a new zippered bolt-storage pouch to put tools and bolts in when removing the roof, doors and windscreen, replacing the previous plastic trays.

The Gladiator also gains a new Goldilocks exterior finish which, as the name suggests, is a golden yellow.

The update comes after a facelifted Gladiator launched for model year 2025 (MY25), around two years after it was revealed in the US. This saw the lineup culled to a single Rubicon variant, which dropped in price but gained more standard equipment.

Australian Gladiator sales fell by 35.5 per cent in 2025, mirroring the double-digit declines recorded by its Wrangler sibling.

It remains the only ute on sale in Australia with a removable roof and doors.
