Renault Australia has confirmed pricing for the next-generation Master van, with diesel versions due in local showrooms from June 2026 and new electric variants following later in the year.
Priced from $55,990 before on-road costs in diesel guise, the new Master is only $790 more expensive than the model it replaces. The electric Master E-Tech, meanwhile, starts at $77,990 before on-roads.
The 2026 Master marks the fourth generation of Renault's largest van, replacing the previous iteration that went on sale in Australia in late 2011. The new van was revealed overseas all the way back in November 2023 and was confirmed for Australia in April 2026.
Renault's introduction of electric E-Tech models will be the first time the Master has been available as an EV in Australia, despite the third-gen model offering an electric powertrain overseas since 2018. It'll join the existing Kangoo E-Tech in the French brand's commercial EV range.

The Master E-Tech will be available only as a front-wheel drive model, driven by a single electric motor producing 105kW of power and 300Nm of torque. This is fed by an 87kWh battery pack with a claimed driving range of 409km on the WLTP cycle.
It'll rival other large vans like the Ford E-Transit, a rear-drive model with 198kW and 430Nm priced from $89,990 before on-roads, and the LDV eDeliver 9, offered in front-wheel drive with 150kW and 310Nm from $116,537 before on-roads.
There's also the Mercedes-Benz eSprinter, which produces 150kW and 400Nm and is priced from $104,864 before on-roads.
Combustion-powered versions of the new Master will use an updated 2.0-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine, producing 125kW of power and 380Nm of torque. Drive is sent to the front wheels via either a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The new-generation Master has a redesigned exterior with more aerodynamic exterior styling, and inside there’s a new dashboard featuring a 10.0-inch touchscreen that includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone mirroring. Free over-the-air software updates are available for five years.

All medium-wheelbase Masters measure 5685mm long, 2080mm wide, and 2498mm tall, and ride a 3585mm wheelbase. Long-wheelbase versions, meanwhile, are 6315mm long and ride a 4215mm wheelbase, while the sole high-roof model is 2778mm tall.
Diesel models offer a payload of between 1811kg and 1923kg, while E-Tech versions offer a reduced capacity of either 1084kg or 1164kg. All models have a braked towing capacity of 2000kg.
Additionally, the Master has received a Platinum rating from safety authority Euro NCAP, based on an assessment of its active safety and driver-assist technology.
"The new-generation Renault Master is a game-changer with its added safety, capability, and improved efficiency," said Renault Australia general manager Glen Sealey in a press release.
"We know the large van segment is highly competitive in Australia but the new Renault Master has already proven itself in Europe, where it has received numerous awards."
