2026 Toyota HiLux set for November reveal
With the HiLux made in Thailand, a new report claims the new-generation ute will be launched there at the country's motor show this November.

General Motors is recalling almost 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pickup trucks, but not for an issue that’ll affect how the vehicle operates.
Instead, it’s for an improperly labelled cap.
“The brake fluid cap affixed to the vehicle does not contain the required warnings in accordance with the standards set out under Australian Design Rule (ADR) 35/07 – Commercial Vehicle Brake Systems,” the company says in its recall notice.
“There is no safety hazard associated with this recall and the defect will not affect the performance of the vehicle.
“Vehicles are not compliant with Australian Design Rule (ADR) 35/07 – Commercial Vehicle Brake Systems.”
- A total of 1899 model year 2024 (MY24) Silverados are affected
- The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) list is attached here

If you own an affected vehicle, you can book in with a GMSV dealer to get the cap replaced free of charge.
