Hyundai’s hot hatches have the longest wait times, while you’ll also be waiting a while to take delivery of a new Kona.
Ordering for the i20 N remains paused as Hyundai Australia works to clear a backlog of orders, with wait times of 12 months or more for those in the queue.
It closed new orders for the i20 N last year, and we don’t expect to see ordering to re-open for the little pocket rocket in the next couple of months.


Also facing substantial waits is the i30 Hatch N. Current order holders are facing 6-12 month waits, while new orders will take over a year.
The situation for the i30 Sedan N and Kona N is considerably better, with Hyundai citing strong supply and high levels of stock for both and wait times of up to three months for both new and existing orders.
Other Konas are experiencing longer waits of 6-12 months, including the Kona Electric.
Hyundai says it has consistent supply of the Sonata, Venue, Santa Fe Hybrid and Staria Load.
