Italian supercar maker Pagani has dipped its toes into the racing simulator world, unveiling a cockpit which resembles its $4 million Huayra V12-R hypercar.
Developed and built in collaboration with Racing Unleashed, this simulator is an almost perfect replica of the hypercar’s interior, with the Huayra R’s steering wheel, pedals, seat and seat belts all carried across to the gaming cockpit.
Discreetly located underneath the simulation’s carbon-fibre shell is a motion platform, capable of moving up to three degrees on the X and Y axis for proper immersion.
A gaming computer is integrated into the frame, while a curved monitor and five speakers are mounted on a bespoke carbon-fibre arm.
The simulator comes as standard with Assetto Corsa Pro installed, providing one of the most in-depth driving experiences this side of dedicated Formula One programs – or being behind the wheel in real life.
There is a catch though – you can’t buy one if you don’t yet own a Pagani Huayra R.
For now at least, this simulator is dedicated to those who can’t take their 6.0-litre V12-powered hypercars on the road, as it doesn’t meet road regulations.
Pagani is also yet to release a price for the advanced simulator, but anything short of six figures would be a shock.
