Inchcape is recalling almost 300 examples of the previous-generation Peugeot 3008 and 5008 as they may not be compliant with emissions regulations.
“Due to a software issue, the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) may not operate as intended. This could result in the AdBlue low level warning light not illuminating,” the company says in its recall notice.
“A software update is required to ensure the correct operation of the warning light.
“There is no safety hazard associated with this recall and the defect will not affect the performance of the vehicle.
“Vehicles that experience this issue may not comply with Australian Design Rule 79/04 – Emission Control for Light Vehicles.”
