Engine options include 2.4L multi-point injection (103kW/200Nm), 2.3L multi-point injection (107kW/200Nm), 2.4L turbo diesel direct injection (88kW/240Nm), 2.3L in-line (107kW/200Nm) and 2.4L in-line (90kW/285Nm). Available with 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.
The new 2001 Transit is offered with a 3 year, 100,000 km warranty.
