The new Mazda MX-5 is a sports car offered in a 2D Convertible body style. Available in Australia from $41,190 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $61,100 for the SP.

There are 2 variants of the MX-5 available in Australia.

Engine options include 1.8L multi-point injection (113kW/181Nm) and 1.8L turbo multi-point injection (150kW/280Nm). Available with 6-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.

The new 2001 MX-5 is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
