    The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class is a Small Luxury offered in both 5D Hatchback and 3D Hatchback body styles. Available in Australia from $34,700 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Classic variant and topping out at $48,600 for the Avantgarde.

    There are 3 variants of the A-Class available in Australia.

    Engine options include 1.7L multi-point injection (85kW/155Nm), 2L multi-point injection (100kW/185Nm) and 2L turbo multi-point injection (142kW/280Nm). Available with 5-speed manual, variable sp automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. All variants feature front-wheel drive.

    The new 2008 A-Class is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
