    The new Volkswagen Crafter is a Van Over 3.5t offered in Single Panel Van, Single Cab Chassis and Double Cab Chassis body styles. Available in Australia from $40,600 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $66,140 for the Base.

    There is 1 variant of the Crafter available in Australia and this generation went on sale in January of 2012.

    Engine options include 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (80kW/300Nm) and 2.5L turbo diesel common rail (100kW/330Nm). All variants feature 6-speed manual transmission. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.

    The new 2012 Crafter is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
