Last updated Sep 27, 2025The new BMW 4 Series is a sports car offered in 2D Convertible, 5D Convertible, 5D Coupe and 2D Coupe body styles. Available in Australia from $68,900 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Luxury Line variant and topping out at $119,310 for the M Sport.
There are 4 variants of the 4 Series available in Australia and this generation went on sale in September of 2017.
Engine options include 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (185kW/350Nm) and 3.0L turbo petrol direct injection (240kW/450Nm). Available with 8-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.
The new 2017 4 Series is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
