The Genesis GV70 enters 2026 with minor changes, including new tech and minor price increases.
The model year 2026 (MY26) GV70 entered production in October, and is due in local showrooms this month.
All variants of the mid-size luxury SUV are $600 more expensive for 2026, but gain Digital Key 2. Once you’ve registered your GV70 with a Genesis Connected Services account, you can save a digital key in your smartphone wallet that be shared with up to 15 compatible devices.

This means if you have a device with ultra-wideband (UWB) technology, you won’t need to take your phone (or the key fob) out of your pocket to unlock the car; smartphones without UWB can still use near-field communication (NFC), allowing you to tap your phone against the door handle to unlock it and on the wireless reader inside the car to start it.
Digital Key 2 will also work if you have no mobile network signal or if your smartphone battery is flat.
Other than the addition of a new exterior finish – Bering Blue gloss, available across the range – and the removal of the rear GV70 badge, there are no other changes to the GV70 for MY26.
Genesis has yet to announce changes for the Electrified GV70, the electric version of its mid-size SUV.
