The Ford Transit Custom has come in for a nationwide product safety recall to fix incorrect details in its digital owner’s manual, which may prevent drivers from locating its child seat anchor point and other safety information.
“The vehicle’s digital owner’s manual may contain incorrect information regarding the location of the child seat anchor point, airbags, seatbelts and emergency assistance information,” says Ford in its recall notice.
“As a result, the user may not be able to locate the appropriate anchor point for attaching the child seat, seatbelts and other information.
