SsangYong has issued a recall for diesel-powered 2015-20 Korando, Tivoli, and Tivoli XLV models due to a potential fuel leak.
“As a result of driving the vehicle for a long time, a micro crack may develop in the fuel supply line hose and may result in a fuel leak,” the company says in its recall notice.
“If the fuel supply hose develops a crack and fuel leaks, there is a possibility that fuel may ignite, resulting in a fire.”
A fire could cause an accident and injure or kill the vehicle’s occupants or others near the vehicle.

Owners of the affected SsangYong models will be contacted and advised to arrange an appointment with their preferred dealer for an inspection and repair.
