There are 5 variants of the Kona available in Australia and this generation went on sale in July of 2025.
Engine options include 2.0L in-line (110kW/180Nm), 1.6L in-line (104kW/264Nm) and null (99kW/255Nm). Non-electric variants are available with variable sp automatic or 6-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature front-wheel drive.
The new 2026 Kona is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
