Last updated Sep 26, 2025The new Hyundai Tucson is a small SUV offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $27,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Active variant and topping out at $45,490 for the Highlander.
There are 4 variants of the Tucson available in Australia and this generation went on sale in January of 2016.
Engine options include 2.0L multi-point injection (114kW/192Nm), 2.0L petrol direct injection (121kW/203Nm), 1.6L turbo petrol direct injection (130kW/265Nm) and 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (136kW/400Nm). Available with 6-speed automatic, 6-speed manual or manual transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2016 Tucson is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
