The new diesel uses less fuel yet makes more power than the 1.9-litre engine it replaces, but it’s more expensive in both the ute and SUV.

Last updated Sep 26, 2025The new Isuzu D-Max is a Pickup. Available in Australia from $32,700 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the SX variant and topping out at $79,990 for the Blade.
There are 7 variants of the D-Max available in Australia and this generation went on sale in April of 2024.
Engine options include 3.0L turbo diesel common rail (140kW/450Nm), 3.0L turbo (140kW/450Nm), 1.9L turbo diesel common rail (110kW/350Nm) and 1.9L turbo (110kW/350Nm). Available with 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. Both four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2024 D-Max is offered with a 6 year, 150,000 km warranty.
