2021 Lexus IS review

It's a significant overhaul with lots of plusses, but the latest IS still feels dated and outclassed by more superior rivals. Build quality, though, remains first class

Pros

New design is polished with a more assertive stance
Finally there's a functional infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Dynamically superior to the old car

Cons

Interior layout is looking dated
All three engines are outclassed by key rivals
No hi-po IS F model, yet
