    The new Lexus IS is a Medium Luxury offered in a 4D Sedan body style. Available in Australia from $57,500 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Luxury variant and topping out at $83,870 for the Sports Luxury.

    There are 3 variants of the IS available in Australia and this generation went on sale in September of 2015.

    Engine options include 2.0L turbo gasoline direct injection & multi-point (180kW/350Nm), 2.5L petrol direct injection (164kW/0Nm) and 3.5L petrol direct injection (233kW/378Nm). Available with 8-speed automatic or variable sp automatic transmissions. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.

    The new 2016 IS is offered with a 4 year, 100,000 km warranty.
