Last updated Sep 27, 2025The new Mercedes-AMG GT is a Super Sports offered in 3D Hatchback, 5D Hatchback, 3D Convertible, 2D Convertible and 3D Coupe body styles. Available in Australia from $249,542 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $368,700 for the R.
There are 4 variants of the GT available in Australia and this generation went on sale in October of 2019.
Engine options include 4.0L turbo petrol direct injection (384kW/670Nm) and 3.0L turbo petrol direct injection (320kW/520Nm). Available with manual, 7-speed automatic or 9-speed automatic transmissions. Both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2019 GT is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
