The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a Large Luxury offered in both 5D Sedan and 4D Sedan body styles. Available in Australia from $82,500 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Classic variant and topping out at $231,600 for the AMG.

There are 4 variants of the E-Class available in Australia.

Engine options include 3L multi-point injection (170kW/300Nm), 5L multi-point injection (225kW/460Nm), 3.5L multi-point injection (200kW/350Nm), 1.8L supercharger multi-point injection (120kW/240Nm), 3L turbo diesel common rail (140kW/400Nm) and 5.4L supercharger multi-point injection (350kW/700Nm). Available with 7-speed automatic or 5-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.

The new 2006 E-Class is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
