There are 3 variants of the Tiguan available in Australia and this generation went on sale in July of 2016.
Engine options include 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (132kW/320Nm), 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (110kW/340Nm) and 1.4L turbo petrol direct injection (110kW/250Nm). Available with manual or 6-speed manual transmissions. Both four-wheel drive and front-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2017 Tiguan is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
