Engine options include 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (135kW/300Nm), electric motor (215kW/420Nm) and 3.0L turbo petrol direct injection (285kW/500Nm). Non-electric variants are available with 8-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. Both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2021 3 Series is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
