BMW will be hedging its bets with the next-generation X5, offering the luxury SUV with a dizzying range of powertrain types including hydrogen.

The new BMW X5 is a Suv Large Luxury offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $79,900 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the variant and topping out at $157,300 for the.
Engine options include 3L multi-point injection (170kW/300Nm), 3L turbo diesel common rail (150kW/480Nm), 4.4L multi-point injection (235kW/440Nm) and 4.8L multi-point injection (265kW/500Nm). Available with 6-speed manual, 5-speed automatic or 6-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature four-wheel drive.
The new 2005 X5 is offered with a 2 year, unlimited km warranty.
