BMW will be hedging its bets with the next-generation X5, offering the luxury SUV with a dizzying range of powertrain types including hydrogen.

Engine options include 3L multi-point injection (200kW/315Nm), 3L turbo diesel common rail (160kW/500Nm) and 4.8L multi-point injection (261kW/475Nm). All variants feature 6-speed automatic transmission. All variants feature four-wheel drive.
The new 2007 X5 is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
