2026 Subaru Outback to debut Wilderness sub-brand in Australia
The new Outback will be the first model to offer a more rugged Wilderness version in Australia, bringing more power than any Subaru SUV yet.

The new Subaru Outback is a large SUV offered in a 5D Station Wagon body style. Available in Australia from $37,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the variant and topping out at $53,490 for the.
Engine options include 2.5L multi-point injection (121kW/226Nm) and 3L multi-point injection (180kW/297Nm). Available with 5-speed manual, 4-speed automatic or 5-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature four-wheel drive.
The new 2005 Outback is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
