The new Subaru Outback is a large SUV offered in a 5D Station Wagon body style. Available in Australia from $37,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Luxury Edition variant and topping out at $53,490 for the R Premium Pack.

There are 8 variants of the Outback available in Australia.

Engine options include 2.5L multi-point injection (121kW/226Nm) and 3L multi-point injection (180kW/297Nm). Available with 4-speed automatic, 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature four-wheel drive.

The new 2006 Outback is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
