There are 3 variants of the HiLux available in Australia.
Engine options include 3L turbo diesel common rail (120kW/343Nm), 3.0L turbo diesel common rail (120kW/343Nm), 4L multi-point injection (175kW/343Nm) and 2.7L multi-point injection (118kW/241Nm). Available with 5-speed manual, 5-speed automatic or 4-speed automatic transmissions. Both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2005 HiLux is offered with a 3 year, 100,000 km warranty.
