    2024 Toyota HiLux

    The facelifted 2024 Toyota HiLux is now on sale in Australia, bringing a new look for certain variants, a handful of new features and 48-volt technology in select examples – just don’t call it a hybrid.

    Pricing has changed for about half of the Toyota HiLux range for 2024, owing to minor specification changes or the arrival of its ‘V-Active’ 48-volt mild-hybrid system, reserved for just five dual-cab 4×4 models.

    The range still opens at $26,475 before on-road costs but now stretches to $74,310 before on-road costs for the flagship HiLux GR Sport.

    • Far better drive experience than before
    • Massive interior improvements
    • Pretty sound investment in terms of resale

    Cons

    • Still not as convincing as a Ranger to drive
    • Still centre top-tether points for kid seats
    • Squeaky seat, armrest materials
