Last updated Sep 28, 2025The new BMW 5 Series is a Large Luxury offered in both 4D Sedan and 5D Sedan body styles. Available in Australia from $78,750 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the 520i variant and topping out at $146,800 for the 540i.
There are 4 variants of the 5 Series available in Australia.
Engine options include 2.5L multi-point injection (141kW/250Nm), 4L multi-point injection (210kW/400Nm), 2L multi-point injection (110kW/190Nm) and 3L multi-point injection (160kW/290Nm). Available with 5-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.
The new 1995 5 Series is offered with a 2 year warranty.
