Engine options include 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (135kW/270Nm), 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (135kW/380Nm), 3.0L turbo petrol direct injection (225kW/400Nm), 3.0L turbo diesel common rail (230kW/630Nm) and 4.4L turbo petrol direct injection (300kW/600Nm). All variants feature 8-speed automatic transmission. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.
The new 2012 5 Series is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
