Engine options include 2.5L multi-point injection (160kW/250Nm), 3L multi-point injection (190kW/300Nm), 3L turbo diesel common rail (160kW/480Nm), 4L multi-point injection (225kW/390Nm) and 4.8L multi-point injection (270kW/490Nm). All variants feature 6-speed automatic transmission. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.
The new 2006 5 Series is offered with a 2 year, unlimited km warranty.
