Korean auto brand KGM has confirmed the latest member of its growing suite of mid-size SUVs – an electric SUV that’ll enter a segment already booming with options.
The KGM Torres EVX joins the petrol-powered Torres and its sleeker Actyon sibling already in showrooms, and the recently announced Torres Hybrid.
Like the Torres Hybrid, the Torres EVX will be in selected KGM dealerships by the end of this month, ahead of sales starting on December 1, 2025.

It’ll be offered in just one trim level, priced at $58,000 drive-away – $10,000 more than the top-spec Torres Hybrid K40, which admittedly has less standard equipment, and $2000 less than the Musso EV that’s also launching in December.
Unlike the electric Musso dual-cab, there’s no all-wheel drive option available for the Torres EV.
The Torres EVX and Musso EV will be KGM’s first electric vehicles (EVs) available in Australia, as we never received the electric e-Motion version of the Korando, which was the first EV from the brand formerly known as SsangYong.

|---|---|

Just one single-motor, front-wheel drive powertrain is available.

KGM says it takes 37 minutes to charge the Torres EVX’s battery from 10 to 80 per cent using a 300kW DC fast-charger. At 100kW, it’s said to take approximately 42 minutes.
A 0-100 per cent charge on an 11kW AC charger takes approximately nine hours, says KGM, and there’s vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, allowing you to power small electrical appliances.
